As we continue to monitor the potential impact of coronavirus (COVID-19), we would like to share important reminders for all employees to help prevent the spread of illness in our workplace and communities.
Stay home if you are sick. Please be reminded that we have an enterprise-wide Remote Work policy, which allows all employees to work remotely on an “as needed” basis. If you have flu-like symptoms, you must either take PTO or coordinate with management to work remotely until symptom free.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available, https://www.cdc.gov/handwashing/when-how-handwashing.html.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. If you don't have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve, https://www.cdc.gov/healthywater/hygiene/etiquette/coughing_sneezing.html.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
In addition, we ask that if you or any member of your household is exposed to or diagnosed with coronavirus that you notify Human Resources immediately,
