@crankypants one of my favorites is Staff Members magic habanero garlic ginger paste

2020-03-07 22:42:34 UTC

& or Liposomal Vitamin C from Lipo Naturals

2020-03-07 22:43:08 UTC

Don't want to suppress it. You want to turn it into a productive cough

2020-03-07 22:44:36 UTC

@WildMan Really? For cough suppressant? I'll see if it's on Amazon.

Don't want to suppress it. You want to turn it into a productive cough

2020-03-07 22:45:36 UTC

A dry cough is not a productive cough and can be suppressed per my doctor.

2020-03-07 22:45:42 UTC

If it's productive I don't suppress it.

2020-03-07 22:46:51 UTC

You want to get rid of the irritant not live with it for the rest of your life

2020-03-07 22:47:46 UTC

@WildMan I'm talking about a very frequent cough every 4-5 minutes, non-stop 24/7 which is non-productive. That's what I started with and 3 weeks later it's a bit better, but still not gone.

2020-03-07 22:48:30 UTC

I have garlic paste and probably some hot pepper sauce I can mix up and see what happens.

2020-03-07 22:48:59 UTC

A chronic infection, need to feed your immune system, not suppress it.

2020-03-07 22:49:13 UTC

I find spicy red curry from a local thai restaurant to be very good against congestion in the chest or sinus.

2020-03-07 22:49:28 UTC

How am I suppressing my immune system by asking for a cough suppressant? I'm confused.

2020-03-07 22:50:48 UTC

I'm doing what I can to boost my immune system too. But this dry cough might be asthma related.

2020-03-07 22:51:54 UTC

I make it with fresh Habanero Peppers. Jalapeno Peppers. Lots of raw garlic raw ginger & a whole lime with the rind peeled with a vegetable peeler (careful it's sharp) quartered & throw it into a magic bullet blender

2020-03-07 22:53:06 UTC

What is asthma & how do doctors treat it? By suppressing your immune system with inhaled steroids.

2020-03-07 22:53:43 UTC

allopathic medicine is used to suppress symptoms

2020-03-07 22:53:51 UTC

Yes, I think Advair has steroids in it. Maybe I should get off that for a bit.

2020-03-07 22:54:08 UTC

They call that disease treatment or management

2020-03-07 22:54:35 UTC

You should heal your immune system until you do not need it any more

2020-03-07 22:55:04 UTC

Ok, I found some red curry paste and minced garlic. I could not find any hot peppers so I'm going to try that. It's dinner time for me. Thanks @WildMan

2020-03-07 22:55:48 UTC

That's how you get off the pharmacuiticals is by not needing them anymore because you have healed the underlying problem(s)

2020-03-07 23:00:11 UTC

@crankypants I was trying to change the way you were thinking about the dry cough & what your Dr. is taught to say so you could attack it from a different angle than the "standard of care" and thereby achive success

2020-03-07 23:17:24 UTC

@WildMan Yes I understand. I'm getting off the Advair now and will try your advice. I have a tea for "bronchial health" and I am trying that now. I just don't have a book on herbal remedies and there are so many out there I don't know which one to get.

2020-03-07 23:18:29 UTC

@WildMan I agree with you. I'm not happy with my regular doctor. So I need to try something else. But I'm taking small steps right now and addressing primarily my gut bacteria and getting that back into good shape.
