I also think a lot of men get sucked into the relationship/sacrifice lifestyle before they even have a chance to understand what their freedom and autonomy means to them

2019-02-20 20:48:24 UTC

Yes.

2019-02-20 20:48:30 UTC

Then they get on a roller coaster with no brakes

2019-02-20 20:49:18 UTC

I was lucky in that I was never the type to jump from one relationship to the next. I always spent at least a year alone and it helped calibrate the senses so to speak

2019-02-20 20:49:38 UTC

@frugalcasper Exactly it. I was 21 at the time; I can nearly guarantee I would have passed the event horizon before I had any clue what true autonomy looked like (I sure as fuck didn’t know how it truly was, then).

2019-02-20 20:49:46 UTC

Though, i am going to say something regarding the 8 year ride. I am blessed, in one day. I didn't commit, I didn't destroy myself and I enjoyed a fulfilling and tryhard relationship. It helped me truly understand the "relationship" part better. This can be incredibly beneficial as men who are 25, 26 even 35 can sometimes desperately want LTR.

2019-02-20 20:49:58 UTC

That decreases motivation to be great.

2019-02-20 20:50:06 UTC

And without that motivation its hard to be great at life.

2019-02-20 20:50:15 UTC

@Five, Seven, and Two That's a fucking great way to explain it. The Event Horizon

2019-02-20 20:50:23 UTC

I can confidently work 11 hours in a day and feel my day has been worth it now.

2019-02-20 20:50:35 UTC

In my early 20s that was not possible. I always felt lacking.

2019-02-20 20:51:02 UTC

I like that too. Event horizon.

2019-02-20 20:51:14 UTC

There is a line which you cross there's only coming back with your feet first.

2019-02-20 20:51:15 UTC

@frugalcasper If there’s any regret that I have, it’s *how* I left, but certainly not *that* I left.

2019-02-20 20:51:18 UTC

@Sickswing Yea, society revolves around men feeling like they are lacking. Always having to sacrifice for this or that

2019-02-20 20:51:44 UTC

Society and women don't want a man who is confident in his work and sure of his life's purpose

2019-02-20 20:51:53 UTC

They want you confused and always seeking approval

2019-02-20 20:52:09 UTC

The polarity is truly incredibly. I never knew how powerful I was.

2019-02-20 20:52:17 UTC

@Five, Seven, and Two Good for you man. The key thing is that you left and were able to realize what you needed

2019-02-20 20:52:22 UTC

@frugalcasper Shameless plug: I’m linking you my video I’m working on once it’s up. Really want to know your thoughts.

2019-02-20 20:52:23 UTC

Compared to the average dude who lives in mental jail.

2019-02-20 20:52:35 UTC
2019-02-20 20:53:13 UTC

Say a little prayer for our brothers who never got to taste what it is they really want. Always chasing something that isn't real

2019-02-20 20:53:28 UTC

Lot of time left wandering between leaving and realizing what I needed, but I wouldn’t be who I am without it and I don’t regret that, either.

2019-02-20 20:53:56 UTC

How long have you guys been in LTR's tops? If at all.

2019-02-20 20:54:11 UTC

@Five, Seven, and Two That's the thing right. We are who we are in part because of what we went through.

2019-02-20 20:54:35 UTC

shalom mgtow brotdas

2019-02-20 20:54:45 UTC

Me like 2 weeks. I was 16 and didn't know better. I pretty soon got enough of her shit. @Sickswing

2019-02-20 20:54:52 UTC

i have a question to ask you all

2019-02-20 20:55:05 UTC

@Five, Seven, and Two Your approach is great. It's such a positive spin to be proud of what you've become instead of damaged.

2019-02-20 20:55:11 UTC

What

2019-02-20 20:55:51 UTC

should i make a book where i express hatred and stereotypes to every group or race in the world?

2019-02-20 20:56:01 UTC

@Sickswing Cumulatively? I was a serial monogamist with sprints of one night stands from 18 to 31... so maybe 10 years, all told?

2019-02-20 20:56:10 UTC

i just want to watch the world reeeee to hell

2019-02-20 20:56:12 UTC

@frugalcasper WHat is it that men really want and how does a man become confident in his work and sure of his life's purpose?

2019-02-20 20:56:37 UTC

If you want to do that go right ahead

2019-02-20 20:56:38 UTC

@Five, Seven, and Two Longest single LTR?

2019-02-20 20:58:19 UTC

@Roko That answer is different for every man. I don't know exactly what I want to do with the rest of my life but I know that my life's purpose is to live it as free of mind as I can. It's the pursuit of autonomy. I also get joy and fulfillment from interacting with other men and possibly helping them, even if it's just a little.

2019-02-20 20:58:49 UTC

@frugalcasper I see. That's a nice answer.

2019-02-20 20:59:28 UTC

@Sickswing 2 years.

2019-02-20 20:59:30 UTC

It's the second reason I'm here. The first being the bantz and the lulz
