i was going to spend all of uni developing programming too
am i just being too autistic
Uni will force you to widen your scope.
i can do well at uni with 3-4 hours of work a day
They won't cooperate with you just taking the entire computer science curriculum to the exclusion of all else.
i can spend the other 10 on my stuff
hmm
Uni will push Communism.
shall i look for an apprenticeship?
da fuck is uni?
Oh yeah, that's another thing. You will be put into positions where they will be trying to ram communism down your throat and if you don't tow the line, they will rail road you.
university
university
...
Lol
Uni is short for University.
thoughts on doing an apprenticeship instead?
I don't think they have CS apprenticeships.
they do
i turned down interveiws for them
i know the agency who like me, i can get one
Too much money for nothing.
Oh, that's a song.
university or no university?
It is up to you, although if you go to University you will need to pretend to agree with their values or be prepared to get attacked by professors and students, that is the norm there the state sponsors Communism in the West.
i just need a job that can get me in my own flat
programming preferentially
Depending on the institution you will be attacked for being white and male if they are really bad.
Even if you agree and nod your head.
Oh, if there are apprenticeships for CS, do it.
so, shall i still leave my current job?
i can leave, contact the agency - and then just develop and reach out to other companies
I don't think you should until you either lock down another job.
You lock down your landing place *before* you jump.
I learned that the hard way.
are there any advantages to going to uni over the apprenticeship?
For CS, not really.
I'll be back. The bank is closing soon.
alright - thanks again
Your individual situation is gonna be different than everyone else's but the general trend in the west is the same.
