And then it's not capitalism anymore. There must be maintenance systems.
and eusocial insects are really successful.
@Deep Fried Jesus You made my example too extreme.
I said the most sucessful males.
One male could not even breed every female available. Do you know how much time it would take to fuck 3.5 billion women?
@Deep Fried Jesus Like I told you already. Calm down. You are hyper over nothing. You are here defending company towns which is fine but don't confuse what I am saying.
When I say that wealth inequality is a good thing I mean that as a general rule in a Capitalistic economy. You need to have wealth inequality so that you give people incentives to work harder/smarter, to take more risk, to create.
When I was talking about company towns I was saying that they took advantage of no regulation in order to create a monopoly, Communism is a monopoly remember, and take advantage of their workers by paying them in money that could only be used in the company store. The compnay store where the company controlled the prices of the goods.
Dude, history shows that the successful strategy in an absolutely free market is to curb its freedom in your favor.
Bang up job it's doing right now!
“Your favor” is alittle vague ...
Who’s exactly?
@Nawalter Jizney In the case of a true free market, the individual business' best strategy is to reach an unchallengable monopoly and thereby dominate the market and raise insurmountable barriers to entry.
Right
In fact, the successful application of those practices are why anti-trust laws were developed.
But they can only do that by being a cartel or some shit, if even
So, "your favor" is relative to the respective businesses.
Right, and that's how you win in a *true free market*, itself a term for "unregulated" market.
So a no force rule is a regulation in it of itself
@Nawalter Jizney I don't follow the context for your statement.
@Xychotic If my product only comes out of a special plant, and my garden was the only place in the world where shitty troglodytes didn't pick it, my monopoly is moral and deserved.
@Xychotic monopolies can only exist if they have force backing them up
Like cartels
Monopolies aren't any worse than wealth inequality, is whats done to facilitate these monopolies that is wrong.
Sup
@Deep Fried Jesus Yes, and what you describe is supposed to be the basis of patent and copyright law. It's your unique thing, you should have untrammeled rights to make it profitable for a reasonable duration.
So to prevent that I assume rules are put in place ie regulations
Anyone watch "swiss army man"?
so after 3 years, you and your shitty band of theives raid my greenhouse? Fuck you.
That’s a minimum on regulations I imagine @Xychotic
But, at the same time, if someone can take your thing and make it better or cheaper or just also do it, eventually, he should be allowed to.
How do i make shit beer taste decent?
@BlaqShiep Buy better beer and throw out the shit beer.
not if I have the only remaining plants, and Im not stupid enough to part with it. If you own one, it was stolen.
God damn it smells and taste like metal and bacteria
Take a piss in it
Need me somenipa
@Nawalter Jizney that may actually help
@Deep Fried Jesus Now what you are describing is secrecy. That's also a thing and an effective strategy.
Nothing I describing is secret at all.
@BlaqShiep think of it as prepper training
However, it is not protected by law, and should seeds escape and someone else can figure it out for less or just to compete, you're SOL.
In my hypothetical, I have a moral, earned monopoly, and you're saying you're entitled to the shit because of all the money you COULD be making.
