Not it is not my first language, you are correct there
I thought so, given the time of day we started, assuming you are on a "normal" sleep cycle you would have to be somewhere in europe
@Whats gay anymore Enforcers?
I am actually in Asia, but from Europe
ah I see
@AVRO Architect I must agree you are very good a defending your points mate
What do you mean enforcers
I was taking engineering in college, i had to develop my skill in debating my points to be taken seriously
engineers are quite difficult to work with at the best of times let alone challenge their ideas
@Whats gay anymore Somebody that enforce the will of somebody else using force?
So the military are enforcers ok
No argument there
I believe you had a different point though
I did engineer too mate 😉
no the military are less enforces and more a force for enacting violence
You know there are enforcers in gangs too?
I could extend their role to enforcing the will of a sovereign nation for the sake of an argument
the idea of "peace keeping" misuses the military
@AVRO Architect You are actually very right with that point
the military is primarily supposed to wage war or defend in war
I enforce my will
Am I a gang?
@Whats gay anymore That is also correct. What is a sovereign nation?
its less enforcing will and more " the final form of negotiation" being the last one alive
@Whats gay anymore If you want to nitpick, yes you are
An independent country
Your definition of gang is so flimsy that everything is a gang
My 2 year old niece is a gang
My cat is a gang
gang
/ɡaNG/
noun
1.
an organized group of criminals.
again from oxford
@Whats gay anymore It is actually, and it is not my definition.
What definition sees gang as anything that enforces?
@AVRO Architect Correct, and who can honestly say they have never broken a law?
i think our biggest problem tonight is that we do not have a common definition for many of the words and concepts we have been using
Well this definition of gang makes me a gang
So I think the argument is moot
@AVRO Architect I agree with you on the definition
the key word was "organized" in the phrase "organized criminals"
It is, and you kind of need more than one person
