too fake
Obama and Kennedy were fake too.
they had no real opposition
Romney and McCain were not serious candidates
Not true, Kennedy almost lost the 1960 election to Nixon.
You're right about Obama however.
Kennedy was also much more charismatic than Obama and Beto combined
wouldn't you agree that Trump is a better candidate to run against Obama-like facades
Better than Romney or McCain, but if Trump ran against Obama, he would lose.
i disagree
i think he would have won
by taking the rust belt
Black people turned out in huge numbers to vote for Obama.
Obama received more votes in the Rust belt than Trump.
and they aren't hugely represented in Florida, Michigan and Ohio
Trump could win Florida over Obama, but not the rust belt.
the circumstances in 2008 and 2016 were a lot different
what decides the election is whhether there will be an economic crisis
exactly, people were tired of 8 years of neocon bs
What? Of course there are black people in Florida, Michigan, and Ohio.
not significantly enough to outright swing the states @Thomas O'Malley
Yes they can swing those states.
If black people couldn't vote, they would be red states, not purple states.
so 13% of US population decides every election?
asians and women too
It sounds crazy, but yes.
If Black Americans couldn't vote, Democrats would have lost every election in the past 50 years.
Republicans have lost the black vote for the last 50 years but have still been able to win
The last Democrat to win the white vote was Lyndon B. Johnson in 1964.
and Hispanics are voting GOP more and more
Republicans have lost the Black vote for much longer than that.
The last Republican to win the black vote was Herbert Hoover in 1932.
it's not that cut and dry
you are suffering of political determinism
Republicans could win from the 60s to the 90s because the country was still overwhelmingly white.
watch the video and then come back with the doom and gloom
Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton only were elected because they were Southern moderates.
i'm not making that up just to delude myself
Bush lost the popular vote in 2000 and barely won it in 2004 because of 9/11 and Iraq.
