That's a copout excuse, environmental causes outweigh genetics when it comes to weight. Short of hypothyroidism or something, fats are fats because they have poor diets and sedentary lifestyles.
Maybe instead of eating junk food you could chew gum? It gives the same feeling of eating without actually eating anything.
I definitely understand having a genetic condition, but that's not most people. Americans, especially, eat like shit and have their children eat shit all day long.
