I will say this however. The whole wife and kids thing is easy and pre-packaged meaning. Without it you will have to find your own meaning in life. It's a tougher journey because you have to figure it out on your own. Potentially it is more rewarding because if you channel your energy properly you can wind up like DaVinchi or The Wright borthers, etc...

however if you don't pay attention and intentionally find meaning in life it can eat you up.
