i would classify anyone under 110 iq as pretty useless
that's like 50%
i think the coolest trait is curiosity, which can then lead to creative problem solving
not sure how that translate to iq
anyone who can't be creative and just follows the trend is useless in my eyes
well it measures how well you learn
how does it test for that
i thought it was all pattern recognition
i think he refered in that video
its your ability to reason through problems
bellow 80s ppl cant solve shit just sheep mode on
oh gotya
and yeah, oh i see - so they're linking probelm solving to ability to learn
makes sense, seeing as problem solving is all about decomposing a big problem - and that's how we learn
break down complex ideas into bite size simple ones
it is connected
yeah i assume they give you all the info you need and see how you go figuring shit out
ive never done one myself
sounds cool
i wish hermit would post more often, those call ins are so interesting to watch
it probably has a decent amount of pattern recognition as well
yeah - IQ tests sound fun
how far can u train ur IQ ?
say u have an IQ of 110
16 y/o
you cant improve your IQ to the best of my knowledge
isn't that therefore saying that you cant get better at problem solving?
there are theories you can, idk im not convinced
from what ive just been looking up it seems an increase of maybe 1-2 points over a decade if youre developing the skills is what youd expect
gotya
ur iq is genetic n fairly set at birth.... between the ages of 5-15 environment can give u one statistical deviation one way or the other (15 points)... after that it pretty much never changes...
why can't it change tho?
what factors make it unable to change
well if someone throws a random problem at you how can you improve your ability to solve it
genetic ones
its genetic
you can train urself to get better at decomposing
breaking down problems
it's a skill
iq is not a skil
