I dig on role-playing, there's power in it. I'm actually supposed to be doing a role-playing session today with the one staff member here. Not fantasy role-playing. But an exercise to help me communicate more assertively with my therapist and psychiatrist.
I don't trust mine either, too pro pharmaceuticals for me. But the meds help and it would be months, if at all before i got in to see a new one. There's a fuck ton of people seeking mh services in my area.
@Kaiser Dion Napoleon not a big city, but a big non-rural area. It's densely populated. Last time i checked my area had the third largest latino population in the USA. I'm not saying anymore cause I don't want to dox myself any further. If you know the statistical data, you already know my area..
Hmm. Yeah i do that as well more or less but she doesn't listen. Like cannabis helps me, every professional support i have recognizes that except her. Because of her ignorant views.
She buys into the drugs are bad, it's illegal cause it's bad, etc. Then why are you pushing legal poison? Oh right cause you're ignorant, blue-pilled, and buy into the status quo narrative.
You know. That's really stupid too, because the mental health industry is built around suppressing you with drugs rather then getting down to the source of problems
My good buddy is doing it and he's a lowly company driver. If enough cats do it, a few will get arrested for parking on the side of the highway etc but it would work. Especially if they get news coverage. I hope it does. They need to go back to paper logs. The accident rate since the eld mandate went into effect has increased by 15%.
Back to your previous comment though about what's stupid.. What's stupid? I'm confused. I agree that the mh industry is about feelings based approaches, not solution based ones and suppresing you. Frankly I believe the meds are designed to fix you enough to be a functional cog in the system but sick enough that you need to keep coming back. And this isn't just me, That's coming from mh professionals.
Well you have a right to your opinions. I just think it does more harm than good. Dispatch spergs if you tell them you're too tired to drive but that computer says you're supposed to be. Also i don't know anyone tgat needs ten hours of sleep to feel rested.
