Using the place
Okay, and what kind of teacher do you want to be?
History. Online work from home
Cool, I can tell you working from home is hard though
You can do so much, but I sometimes spend it doing other things than work
Yeah just need self discipline
It's tough tho
If we could rank every MGTOW content producer, where do you think you would stand?
Worth it to be able to make my own schedule
Hmmm
Out of how many?
Hmm....
he would be in the top 1000
Out of all the content producers in the backup: https://happyhumblehermit.com/mgtow-archive/
That's tough man
top 3 for sure
I don't think my content is good for men new to mgtow or in the rage phase
That's true
I kinda just accepted the reality of it.
I'll tell you what it is good for; it is good for solidifying your stance once you've climbed the mountain of dead and dying bluepilled men.
I would say somewhere in the mid tier for effectiveness
@Happy Humble Hermit Are you familiar with the Dunning-Kruger effect?
@Ironbard I think someone mentioned it on a call, what is it?
There's a TFM show that just started: https://www.stream.me/TurdFlingingMonkey
I might have butchered the spelling, and I'll probably butcher this explanation, but here goes:
It's basically the observable effect of stupid people thinking they know it all - and smart people thinking they know very little.
As a side effect it makes the stupid people arrogant, and the smart people humble; i.e. you.
oh dang, I can't post links
Watching at work
Nice
I'm sitting in a comfy office with 4 screens in front of me 😄
@Ironbard yeah I remember someone mentioning that in a call I have to do more research on it. Can you dm me links?
@Happy Humble Hermit Will do.
@Ironbard Do you think it has some relation to Cognitive Dissonance?
I think it's similar to Machine Learning
You're rewarding someone for their behavior in the wrong way
So they think they are good.
@felldie1496 I'm no psychologist, so take the following with a grain of salt. I just thought it an interesting observation - if an old one. It was just thoroughly defined in the last 20-30 years.
At any rate, I think there are similarities, parallels, between the two - but they should not be used interchangeably, because they are not the same:
Cognitive dissonance occurs when you have conflicting data in your mind.
Dunning-Kruger occurs when you are lacking in data, or have too much of it - without enough self-awareness or when lacking awareness of others.
Thanks, i always thought that it was weird. The fact that the more I learn, the more i recognize I don't know shit.
