most important thing to learn is the problem solving skills

the language u program in means fuck all

ppl can learn languages in 3-5 days

problem solving ability takes much longer

that's why i want bat to get into JS purely so he can start having fun with solving problems by using algorithms and data structures - it's what separates the men from the boys

plus, it's the most fun part of programming imo
