What would we need in terms of skills?

Programming. Body mechanics / sports medicine. Material science for plastics and rubber, light metals. 3D model animators.

Manufacturing engineers for the design of the manufacturing process. What else?

Electrical... obviously.

A processor that simulates the human brain enough to simulate our ability for fine motor movements.

We may need something like a quantum computer for that lol

We could make an exhaustive list of the skills required... than we can start head hunting for interested parties. I would be down... long term investment.

I would be down as well, but I think that companies in China are already trying that.

Someone is already doing that... so fuck it. Let's not do anythign that has ever been done before. That's not going to get anyone anywhere. What happened to "we can do it better, faster and cheaper than anyone on earth" ?

I just don't want to reinvent the wheel if someone else is already working on it with better access to resources than we do lol. We may be better off just going to work for a company that already is researching and has better accessibility to what we want than starting from scratch all over again.

Ok... so we break down the skills needed. Then we look at the progress made and see what we can take from others as a boost forward,.

I can't be asked to drag people kicking screaming across any kind of finish line in life. I'm just puttin it out there. I am a soldier without a cause and I'm willing to back android development with my time money blood sweat and tears. That's all.

I don't have time for excuses, particularly for shit I'm not even engaged in doing currently. If it doesn't push the idea forward and bring it closer to realization... I can't be listening to that shit.

I don't care if anyone thinks it cannot be done. It can. I don't care if someone else is doing it, I'm confident that with competent people I could see to it that we do it better than anyone else with far less money and time invested. Anything less is abject failure and that can not be tolerated.

If not today... one day maybe. But I do want to get in on that shit and it's never to early to start compiling data and making a plan. That requires very little investment and time... no money. No sweat.

The Titan Voltas idea was interesting. Each of those graphics cards contains about 21 billion transistors and its estimated the human brain has about 100 billion neurons. Ergo, about 4 titan voltas could simulate 100 billion neurons, if we consider each transistor to be somewhat like a neuron.

Each one is 120 Tflops of machine learning capability.

That is more than enough to do imagine recogniition in real time across millions if not billions of objects.

Run a 3d model, like a video game environment... scan in object have the machine simulate by running the sim in it's "inner game" ... give it an imagination. You can teach it fast.... fast fast fast.

Nice. Then we have to do enough plastics research combined with cpu/gpu cooling in order to somehow create a plastic that can compliment a cool enough environment to prevent overheating of the cpu/gpu

Once the platform is developed it can learn new tasks in real time.

Or distrobute the heat to the skin... for realism.

Then we can have it operate one something like an IoT algorithm and have it be able to predict your needs
