That's the main problem
It removes the drive for innovation
Moving beyond ego has MGTOW parallels. It's about consciousness and what you pay attention to, not what you left behind.
By removing the element of competition
@NOMA I've been thinking about that lately. lol
@Flushtater lol really
lets hear it.
Socialism is somewhat cooperative, but for the most part competition more closely parallels nature (capitalism.)
But humans don't seem to like cooperation too well...
Correct @nate112332
And competition drives innovation
Welcome
Exactly, competition creates demand, and groups trying to out supply others creates innovation and economic development
to HELL
Yes, even laziness drives innovation.
@Flushtater in a way yeah
The will to build things so you can be lazier
If they have money to spend
Who wants to haul wood when you can flip the light switch?
@nate112332 not really, a better word to use would be easier
Efficient
Easy makes people lazy
But lazy people nspire others to innovate for them, dishwashers are my friends.
Evolution is about efficiency and getting the most out of your resource
thus the more efficent, the more room to be lazy
@Flushtater that's not lazy people though, that's the just the opportunity for greater efficiency while performing a task
ok
if logic serves me well that is
Seinfeld asked several comedians if they would have suceeded without the necessity of money, they both said no.
@Flushtater makes sense
So suffering is a great teacher. Orwell even backed off socialism.
As the desire for money incentivises work ethic
I just hope mankind is conscious enough to not destroy the ecosystem. As long as we manage that, we're golden, on a long enough timeline.
We're not capable ofvdestroying the ecosystem
Capitalism creates a lot of consumer waste. Everyone owns a drill and use it twice a year.
Sure we are, HHH just talked about nukes, Pakistan and India.
Nukes can destroy almost everything
*Almost*
