I've lived and worked in a few Muslim countries, but I found most mosques empty and like Islamic is just fashion there for most people.

There is no such thing as a Muslim country cuz it contradicts Islam itself in Islam you shouldn't enforce your religious beliefs on anybody the are free to believe who they want to leave and what they want to believe

And going to pray in a mosque is optional in Islam it's a good thing but it still optional you can just pray in your own home or anywhere else doesn't matter it just has to be clean

I think muslims, just like christians, exist in a spectrum of belief and adherence to their religion

there are muslims who are muslim only in name, because they're born in a place where that's the norm, but they still just live their lives

Religion doesn't carry as much value unless it's really enforced. Bible takes about male authority but without a way to enforce it and that the government is willing to intervene in these matters, it can't really do as much.
