@machtyn Sounds like a decent plan. I would just keep in mind that any time that you try to quit or avoid something you are picking the hard way. I find it much easier to just look at something from an overall perspective and realize that while something may have some alluring characteristics that you have decided that taken as a whole you just would rather choose differently.

@Lilu Well the only real habit I want to quit/modify is nutrition. I’m pretty solid on everything else. Once I find my “thing” I’ll go balls to the wall and master it.

I've been in monk mode since the first Clinton Administration.........the hardest part is when you "like" or "endear" for a girl you know.....and she doesn't match your values, your likes, where you are going........and you know "deep down" pursing her, or playing "game" with her is going to break your heart in the end.............or derail you......and she goes on with her life.....and those "what if" times can and do 'sting'

Oneitis?

After becoming a Christian around the age of 40.............I quit porn (viewing) and quit "strip clubs" too. The sexual dreams came back with a force like I had in my twenties......and interestingly enough.......my creativity, my work ethic, and drive to "be better" came back too. I can't remember when.....must have been when I was leading a Boy Scout Troop.......on a camping trip somewhere in the Sierras here in California..........I just decided that "next time I decide to get involved with a girl...she's a Christian in word and deed....she isn't into "game" or "games" and she likes me for what I have and what I can do.....not an image of what she "expects" me to do.

For me whenever I followed through on attraction I was always disappointed. Best case scenario is that I would bust a nut and feel like it wasn't even worth the calories that I burned. But my experience is probably not normal.
