@DingleberryPie agriculture sciences: soybean breeding and agrometeorology
Do you do cross breeding directly or do you study it?
Both
I'm trying to finish my PhD
I was into crossbreeding cannabis for large portion of my life.
I was trying make some new and great.
I ended up mucking up the genetics pretty bad. End up with all hermaphrodites that smelled and tasted like potpourri.
I've thought in crossbreding cannabis too, but I let go because was too risky. I stayed with soybean
Haha. Good times though.
Wise move.
I wanted to grow saffron.
I still might make an attempt at growing micro greens for fancy restaurants.
Depending where you are it will be while before cannabis is widely accepted.
It's extremely illegal where I live.
But soy man I see fields of soy everywhere.
@DingleberryPie I'm from Brasil, so it's going to take a decade or more
Do you still live in Brasil?
Yep
I've always wanted to visit there. I knew I guy once who married a chick from there.
He used tell me how great the culture was
Do you plan on staying there?
Yes, my future is in here
I live in agricultural hub in the us
Now you know someone from Brasil. DM me if you ever visits
We grow a lot of corn and soy here
Where is the best place to visit?
I would love to see the mountains an rainforests.
Try Curitiba, then go travelling north
Right now I am working harder than ever to be able to have leisurely life free of stress.
Ah yes.... That's my future goal too
It's hard man. It's hard keeping site on the end goal. I often want to say fuck it cash out, and live out of my car or a camper.
The truest for of freedom I can think of.
Sometimes I just wish to live like Primitive Technology
Does the higher education system strap you with a life time of debt?
Off the grid with some books and garden. Sound alike heaven to me.
I have no debts, I study in a federal university
Wow. That's great.
I wanted to go to high education but when I did the cost benefit analysis I could justify taking on that kind of debt. About 60000 for what I wanted to study
So you know what I did?
In the us it costs a life time of debt to pursue higher education.
