I think bjj and muay thai would be enough to master for 5+ years - I did greco roman wrestling and it's good for pinning/positioning but bjj is better

would you go for a uniform/bow to master school or a chill "suh dude" school?

all lineages come from gracie and machado and should be provable/traceable. particularly through photos with the coaches

i think the formality of the school doesn't matter as long as the fighters/coaches are good

i like a little formality

bit of a tighter more respectful vibe

so i got photos in my brown belt with multiple black belt coaches. no problem, have proof

also competed as a brown belt and have trophies etc
