isn't an 'instinct' just the pre-programmed logical thought process from ur lizard brain?

2018-11-20 17:06:20 UTC

there is no logic in the lizard brain

2018-11-20 17:06:21 UTC

@ziyauren yeah lol i'm coming to that conclusion slowly but surely

2018-11-20 17:06:51 UTC

there has to be logic? isn't instinct just logic that's hidden in the subconsious?

2018-11-20 17:07:07 UTC

logic comes only from your forbrain and was the last part developed

2018-11-20 17:07:24 UTC

how did 'instinct' get there then?

2018-11-20 17:07:31 UTC

where did instinct to eat come from

2018-11-20 17:07:47 UTC

maybe it came from beig logical and knowing that in order to survive i had to eat

2018-11-20 17:08:03 UTC

desire it's linked to the feeling of be happy/prouf of what you are doing I guess. And some people have the motivation and discipline to do the same thing again and again to go further. You are not a human living when u have no more desire to go further

2018-11-20 17:08:16 UTC

its all aabout the development of neural pathways.... lizard brain ddoesn't have any... why its all called instinct

2018-11-20 17:08:45 UTC

@Shido exactly - so isn't desire a 'key' trait that makes any living thing living?

2018-11-20 17:09:33 UTC

the crisis is known for the athletes

2018-11-20 17:10:34 UTC

even if you can't develop a neural pathway, such as instinct, it must be running on logic? isn't it just like writing code on top of code? you can't edit the code that you're running code 'ontop off' but that code runs on logic designed by an algorithm

2018-11-20 17:11:31 UTC

neural pathways in the lizard brain r not develope... u r born with them

2018-11-20 17:11:59 UTC

over time they must develop ... otherwise every animal would have the same instincts

2018-11-20 17:12:27 UTC

I think you are born with them

2018-11-20 17:12:36 UTC

yeah i understand that but

2018-11-20 17:13:04 UTC

if we all derive from the 'animal' supercalss then how come different species have different instincts

2018-11-20 17:13:07 UTC

they must evolve

2018-11-20 17:13:33 UTC

the mid brain/forebrain develop neural pathways after birth but the lizard brain is evolutionarily fixed at birth

2018-11-20 17:13:42 UTC

u can alter them through your life and give the experience you got to your child, but you cant totally modify it

2018-11-20 17:14:27 UTC

@ziyauren gotya, but how can a lizard brain evolve if it's never grown ?

2018-11-20 17:14:44 UTC

thru offspring

2018-11-20 17:14:46 UTC

what i mean is that , what is fueling the change in the lizard brain from mother to son

2018-11-20 17:15:03 UTC

yeah but how is the lizard brain being 'told' what to evolve into

2018-11-20 17:15:20 UTC

there must be an interaction of sorts

2018-11-20 17:15:44 UTC

it has prooved you can give some trauma experience you lived to your children by genetics despite he never live them

2018-11-20 17:15:55 UTC

ur dna is modified by environment very slowly every day and can pass to ur offspring... read the cherry smell studies/experiments

2018-11-20 17:15:56 UTC

oh okay interesting

2018-11-20 17:16:09 UTC

cool , thank you

2018-11-20 17:16:22 UTC

ive g2g now but ty for discussing this concept with me

2018-11-20 17:16:33 UTC

np

2018-11-20 17:16:45 UTC

kids of doctors make for better ones naturally

2018-11-20 17:16:55 UTC

mb

2018-11-20 17:18:09 UTC

@Commanda Knuckel true, but not because doctors are clever, but because they learn a lot interacting with people

2018-11-20 17:18:34 UTC

medicine for breakfast lunch and dinner

2018-11-20 17:18:38 UTC

genetics and evironment will also play a large role

2018-11-20 17:18:41 UTC

from early age

2018-11-20 17:19:06 UTC

could be
