@VenomousHawk86 You can't go wrong with just meat, fruits and veggies. Unless you're trying to go vegetarian/vegan which has amazing health benefits. Plus making sure you get plenty of pre and probiotics for your gut health.

2018-11-26 23:25:27 UTC

That's another big one though also. Is cutting out processed stuff. Focus on whole foods.

2018-11-26 23:31:37 UTC

Alight, for now I was gonna make up some ham wraps on tortilla bread, lettuce, and capsicum, any sauce reccomendations?

2018-11-26 23:32:48 UTC

These would be a lunch item while at work btw

2018-11-26 23:36:50 UTC

Mustard sounds good to me. Or maybe italian dressing.

2018-11-26 23:46:32 UTC

@Madhawk1995 I plan on going full carnivore once I live alone.

2018-11-26 23:46:47 UTC

I’ll have space for it. I’m going for 6 months at least.

2018-11-26 23:47:17 UTC

@Madhawk1995 Why don’t you see a benefit in full carnivore?

2018-11-26 23:55:36 UTC

@machtyn I couldn't do it. I like steak, but i don't like meat that much. I'm planning on going vegetarian once i move out of where i'm at. I'll have the space to stock up on food stuffs so i can save money by buying in bulk.

2018-11-26 23:55:41 UTC

@machtyn it's not bad but how will you deal with the lack of fiber?

2018-11-26 23:56:01 UTC

Yeah that's a good point.

2018-11-26 23:56:43 UTC

Or gout?

2018-11-26 23:56:46 UTC

@machtyn most ppl are against it and it is a bit hard to maintain. I was looking at butcherbox but that shit isnt fully grass fed. Basically, some ppl said it was topped off not fully grass fed cattle. I go to whole foods for my meat. Pickup whatever steaks on sale or cuts i Like.
I pickup wild caught salmon always. Cook in nitrate free bacon. I noticed you gotta be careful. The shittier bacon made me feel Bad. Like i ate the pig fucking scared out of its mind. Adrenaline everywhere and just shit. So, i dont play around returned that stop and shop one.
I would like to and need to find farms where I can pickup the meat myself.
For raw mil;k i would use uddermilk.com and they would deliver to me. I am not lactose but i find it difficult to process cow milk now. Never an issue in hs or kid. I only have coconut milk and goat milk based yogurt + kefir now. Cool part about eggs from their farm was no need to refrigerate and were pretty good.

2018-11-26 23:58:26 UTC

@Madhawk1995 Don't forget about garlic, ginger and onions to feed all those healthy bacteriums from the kefir.

2018-11-26 23:58:56 UTC

Otherwise it does little good cause since it has no food supply.

2018-11-27 00:00:54 UTC

@GingerSnaps I was vegetarian before and did terrible without animal product. I’ll eat a a combination after trying carnivore.

2018-11-27 00:01:08 UTC

In case you haven't watched it - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTPW2L9mXRM
Night.

2018-11-27 00:01:29 UTC

@Null I’m not concerned about either of those. I plan on recording the whole experiment ;-).

2018-11-27 00:04:02 UTC

@machtyn ok, if your feet swell or you feel rapid on set joint pain then get to a doctor you have the gout. Also drink a lot of water to help pass movements since you won't be eating fiber.

2018-11-27 00:04:34 UTC

@Madhawk1995 I definitely see it being hard to maintain. I used eatwild to find a few local farms and I’ll be buying eggs, beef fat and steaks/ ground beef from them.

2018-11-27 00:05:02 UTC

@machtyn I've never heard of anyone doing poorly on a vegetarian diet though to be honest my experience is limited. I'm for it because i don't really eat meat anyway. Besides steak and even then i could do without. I am concerned about my protein intake and testosterone levels but studies show you can get your daily intake of protein from just fruits and vegetables. Also studies are now showing the daily intake of meat should be zero. Though i'm suspicious of bias since it's becoming quite popular to hate on the meat industry in general not just the mainstream industry.

2018-11-27 00:05:22 UTC

@Null Yeah, I will definitely be careful.

2018-11-27 00:06:15 UTC

@GingerSnaps I suggest reading the vegetarian myth.

2018-11-27 00:06:38 UTC

@GingerSnaps meat has complete vitamin b complexes, veggies and fruit have incomplete b complexes. This is why vegans have to get b 12 injections.

2018-11-27 00:07:36 UTC

I'm the only one in my circle that gives a fuck about what goes into my body. I have a weight lifting obsessed friend but he's a blue-pilled pot bellied lout and brute. @Null i take a solid multivitamin for all of that.

2018-11-27 00:07:43 UTC

@GingerSnaps ideally you should eat about 50% of your protein in lean meats and the other half from veggies to get fiber and other vitamins.

2018-11-27 00:08:17 UTC

@GingerSnaps supplements never beat diet.

2018-11-27 00:08:47 UTC

@Null i'm sure but it's better than nothing.

2018-11-27 00:09:20 UTC

@machtyn Grass Fed Beef Liver. I never had but started eating after looking into carnivore diet. This thing is ridiculous.

2018-11-27 00:09:50 UTC

@GingerSnaps That’s good you’re focused on health. It’s important! All my workout friends are Vegan lol.

2018-11-27 00:10:41 UTC

@Madhawk1995 yup! I’ll be eating beef fat, butter, eggs, fatty steaks and liver/kidney from a local farm.

2018-11-27 00:10:49 UTC

I’ll be eating some raw as well.

2018-11-27 00:10:52 UTC

@machtyn but why though vegans are depriving themselves of valuable vitamins and minerals by avoiding animal products

2018-11-27 00:12:01 UTC

@Null I agree but some people do really well on the vegan diet. I encourage personal experimentation. I personally always felt mentally tired and physically weak but I definitely felt better in a lot of ways too.

2018-11-27 00:15:03 UTC

When I started researching how plants protect themselves and essentially poison us, I started questioning the way I was eating.

2018-11-27 00:15:04 UTC

I did vegan for 1 month, paleo for about 1.5 years and in general vegetarian because I barely ate meat growing up just chicken occasionally. I notice a big difference by eating red meat. Idk if it because I never had it growing up literally ate my first burger at 16 and gave me so much energy the next day at XC practice. Vegan is cool cuz of the whole save animal thing. It is a good cause but when I was on it I felt like i was slowly dying because I was depriving myself of nutrients. I am one of those skinny kunts that would struggle to put on weight because I would eat shit and not gain. I eat meat to feel nourished. I am putting on mass without trying. Not all calories are the same. Shits a myth. If your body cant absorb its a waste of time energy and money. So far, I have been doing this for a solid month and I am very satisfied with how I feel. Literally different person by just upping meat intake.

2018-11-27 00:17:08 UTC

@Madhawk1995 Good! I’m glad you discovered that. I found the same. Plants don’t want to be eaten and commit chemical warfare. Animals that are killed lost that battle so there isn’t the same risk. Now, factory farming is fucked. I want to buy a shit load of land and just raise animals. No stripping the top soil to feed them. Simply let them live.

2018-11-27 00:17:56 UTC

Factory farming isn’t good for us or for the animals. The real issue is the government subsidizing grains over animals.

2018-11-27 00:18:40 UTC

On a tangentiative note are there any Gojira fans in the room?
