so your fapping was a gym for you?

2019-01-07 13:24:48 UTC

Came home and rubbed one out and the depression was gone

2019-01-07 13:24:56 UTC

Nofap is literally not for some people

2019-01-07 13:25:04 UTC

Didn't even use porn

2019-01-07 13:25:13 UTC

well it changed my life so...

2019-01-07 13:25:22 UTC

Porn is really a factor for the results

2019-01-07 13:26:13 UTC

i recommend nofap and reboot, try for 1 or 2 weeks.

2019-01-07 13:26:37 UTC

Reboot?

2019-01-07 13:27:02 UTC

Stop watching porn for 90 days (original time)

2019-01-07 13:27:16 UTC

I get tired of changing my underwear once a week in the middle of the night. I also get no benefits from nofap apart from time saved not fapping. Which I natrually don't do when I am busy doing other shit. I don't keep myself busy for 2 solid weeks at a time since I am not psychotic or in the army anymore, so nofap doesn't work for me either.

2019-01-07 13:28:19 UTC

@Kragt same here I actually do try to lay off as much as possible but when it becomes distracting I just clear the pipes and move on I typically only do it a few times per week now

2019-01-07 13:30:04 UTC

The wet dreans (or nightfall) really sucks, i agree. You can change your time to sleep (wake up 4AM, go to sleep 9/10PM), i done that and since my frist week (currently on 7 weeks) i never had any wet dreans any more, and i dont know why

2019-01-07 13:30:05 UTC

@Reaper Pretty much, if I am fapping every day it is more a sign that I have too much spare time. If I don't have energy then it means I am probably not taking good care of my diet.
So instead of stopping fapping, drink a cup of coffee, shower, make sure I got some salad greens in the fridge and watch some practical engineering before forcing myself to study something.

2019-01-07 13:30:42 UTC

@Kragt yes addressing overall energy levels is more important I think

2019-01-07 13:30:50 UTC

The wet dreams slow down after a few months but after 6 months solid I was still having them every 2-3 weeks.

2019-01-07 13:31:18 UTC

Now, if you do some type of sports, if you go to the gym, and if you waste more than 30 minutes a day fapping, just go on nofap brotha

2019-01-07 13:31:59 UTC

since you started talking about coffe, did anyone here ever tried stacking?

2019-01-07 13:32:09 UTC

I live in a big cosmopolitan city so even without porn I get flooded with spank material on television daily it does not seem likely I could stop completely until I move somewhere more rural

2019-01-07 13:32:51 UTC

Shutdown your social media, turn off your TV and be a monk lol

2019-01-07 13:32:51 UTC

@PhoenixK7PB I fap 3-4 times a week and I only take 1-5 mins

2019-01-07 13:33:19 UTC

well, just dont be addicted to it

2019-01-07 13:33:43 UTC

@PhoenixK7PB I'm on the older side, I have been there.. it was unpleasant

2019-01-07 13:33:45 UTC

Occum's razor.
Take whatever advice that includes + nofap and try it without nofap.
Too much time fapping is a sign of another problem of which nofap is a possible solution but that is like saying a fever, a cold, and a sinus infection are all cured by hot tea with lemon and honey.

2019-01-07 13:33:53 UTC

i used to spend a lot of precious time on it, so i just turn the switch off

2019-01-07 13:34:17 UTC

Yes all addictions are negatives

2019-01-07 13:35:43 UTC

all the major changes are in your head, same thing with porn

2019-01-07 13:36:17 UTC

@PhoenixK7PB I will give you that I try to fap no porn as much as possible, it is mental cocaine

2019-01-07 13:38:53 UTC

try to stay away from porn for 2 weeks... see if you can

2019-01-07 13:42:21 UTC

I actually rarely watch porn, it's really over stimulating, I use my imagination usually, also it's easier to one and done when there's no external stimulant

2019-01-07 13:44:23 UTC

agree, usually when i relapse (and i relapse a lot) i do it whitout porn too

2019-01-07 13:44:54 UTC

@PhoenixK7PB I see, so you start having changes after about a week. I'll try 3 days first, see how it goes.

2019-01-07 13:45:01 UTC

Thanks for the info mate!

2019-01-07 13:46:56 UTC

Do that m8, if you want (and i think its more easy that way) you can PM me about your journey, if you cant do 3 days easy, i would say you need some help

2019-01-07 13:47:46 UTC

I agree change is possible in a week, also if you are heavily addicted expect the first 3 days to be the hardest (pun intended?)

2019-01-07 13:49:36 UTC

If you are changing your habits make sure you are busy. If you sit with nothing to do for 3 hours you are going to spend the whole 3 hours wanting to fap. If you are going to change habits now is a good time to work on a small side project or at least picking up a new netflix series and cleaning your kitchen.

2019-01-07 13:49:58 UTC

^^

2019-01-07 13:51:20 UTC

totally agree, go to the gym, learn a progamming language, learn 1 cook recipe a day, do something else

2019-01-07 13:56:48 UTC

Spend 3 hours wanting to fap? Shit, more like all day and night

2019-01-07 13:56:58 UTC

Doesnt means I do though

2019-01-07 13:57:41 UTC

@Rhunespire do you think there is genuinely any advantages of nofap

2019-01-07 13:58:38 UTC

That's purely subjective
