i remember entire animes being on youtube

around 2011-2012

and yeah the copyright detection algorythms started on youtube in 2012

didnt notice much until like late 2016 or something

And it was just a fun place

Everything was much more brighter

I think streamlining things makes them more depressing

i used to just watch anime on youtube

Every website used to be so colorful and unique

now even my privated videos get copyright striked

the internet pre 2007 was much better in that everything was decentralized

no you couldnt watch tons of video on deman

even with good internet

this shit just didnt exist

bit torrent was superb from about 2002 onwards though

myspace was an early form of it

but even myspace as it was in the mid 2000s

was very early internet aesthetic

you could have music and all sorts of page customization you cant do now

myspace was epic

i remember my mom having it

we all made fun of it at the time

and now i miss it

i loved customizing my myspace page

heck even youtube channels had the same level of customization
