i mean, i guess
eureka was the worst imo, you had to spend hours grinding just to use mounts and the moutns was barely a increase in speed lmao
it'd be nice to not get dragon's dogma flashbacks
*shivers*
i liked DD, but god, it was painful to run LITERALLY 30 MINUTES to and from places before i realized the teleport items and shit existed
and even then, it was still kind of tedious, the way they worked
lol
that's one thing i'll give them
they at least have autorun unlike DD
when i was questing in ff i had my ex piggy back my everywhhere on a 2 seater mount
i don't think i'm MMO material
you mean you can't?
I like a lot of them
Back in the day Tera was my jam
Tab-targeting BTFO
i-i played a lot of family friendly mmos in my childhood
the only MMOs i've ever gotten into for an period beyond like 4 hours are in this order:
1) PSO2
2) BDO (but even then i literally got to my first awakening before i got bummed out)
3) TERA
never really played anything beyond stuff like toontown or wizard101
Oh man BDO is like having another job
i fiended the fuck out of PSO2
FFXI was amazing
that's why i stopped playing it
I awakened and I reached a point in the story where it was being a hard gear check
i joined a clan then i found out that some people are slaves to their guild more than slaves in fucking rust
And I fucking hate PVP and that's their focus in there
I was part of a PVE guild, it was fun. All you needed to do was just be active. I went sea monster hunting with them from time to time which was fun
Up until one of the sea PVP guilds showed up
pvp is stinky
then again, i'm too shy to make new friends in guilds or anything
i liked ff pvp
and most of my friends didnt want to play the games, or they couldn't (specs, space, etc.)
so i think that's part of why i never got into MMOs
Tera I played up until I reached the point I needed a party to progress in non-dungeon content
in ffxi that point is almost immediately
And at the time I was the only one out of all my friends that was playing it, or that far in the game
after level 10 you cant kill anything without a party
it was super fun
the classes were not balanced at all and didnt have archetypes they had to fit so they were all super unique
bard would just sit there and constantly cast buffs
redmage was a genuine hybrid which would heal, buff, debuff, and dps
