Slumdog millionairre I think
a lot of the old ways still rule there
@Deleted User yup thats it
Caste system and 3 religions that dont get along too well
sorry speaking about the water in Canada... i live amongst the 1 st nation and other tribal groups,,,they are part of Canada too. @Gab.ai/cannuker777 like Pickle Lake 6 years ago when they were all transported to Smiths Falls , Ontario for months costing the goverment over 100 000 million dollars , instead of fixing the problem. started with Harper and now Trudeau
I think the rich-poor divide is usually much bigger in '3rd world'. I was in the Philippines for the last 2.5 years, and am friends with millionaires and billionaires there..... and people living on less than $5 cdn /day for a family of 5. It comes as part of their culture and class systems, biases there (hugely 'racist') and a whole bunch of other factors. The rich were generally SUPER nice and wonderful people, often very generous (it's part of their culture to give back and help others), but there's also a status thing and the obsessive need to imitate everything in "American" culture (aka.... hollywood's portrayal).
@TrumpSandbox Im part cree so totally get it
Sorry!
No need to be sorry
I love it here and I see how much the Native people struggle, and yes, i am SORRY
@TrumpSandbox I don't understand why they couldn't just fix the problems. I find it so frustrating to hear about water problems, etc. in various First Nations communities and not seeing a solution. Surely it doesn't take 20 years to come up with a solution?!! Same with federal payroll system. I'm sure some of my techy friends could do it for a fraction of the 1billion + that it's costing. So messed up
The 1 % s don't give a hoot about us only themselves and what they get from us ,,,,power
I never lived on a reserve but have worked on them before
That is horrible @TrumpSandbox . We all need clean water don't be sorry. That speech was great! I live just outside of a reservation. I wish I could ask the elders so many questions. Because of what was done to them they do not trust us. It makes me sad because there are many of us who appreciate their culture and would like to get back to basics.
I dont look native at all so cant really say what its like to be full blooded
Lots of problems to fix in Canada
@TrumpSandbox yes i agree there are big issues that need to be dealt with by the govt when it comes to 1st nations. was just makin a funny lol. one thing that really has me concerned is the suicide pandemic. youll notice in the list of rooms here i created one for indigenous affairs. i would love to hear what you have to say on these things. where i am they arent very prevelant other than on MSM
I am not native.....but my eyes are WIDE open to what they need.... and it is certainly not a hand out ,,,,,but a HUGE hand up...with people who will truly understand.
@TrumpSandbox no but living amongst them you will have a much more accurate idea of what needs to be done, cause lets face it. the govt aint gonna help
I believe we could learn so much from them! Maybe they should regain leadership or a much bigger role anyway.
Did you know that it is said that a native Indian from the land of fog( Nova Scotia ) sat at King Arthur's Roundtable and was one of his knights .
Suicides, addictions, homeless, vets.....yet our Government keeps throwing money out all over the World...It probably never gets to where its needed anyhow
@Deleted User that's cool!
I will @Gab.ai/cannuker777 but today I am just getting different fact about different topics so people and other people can get engaged on your site to build this into and incredible site...I will send you a personal DM ok.
@CandleLady i like that idea! we really could learn so much. they live in peace with the wild and its considered a crime, and their punishment is for us to let them still keep tiny pieces of it and live in terrible conditions, so they cant even love their land anymore. its unsettling
Very Unsettling @Gab.ai/cannuker777 truly heartbreaking to be honest.
@TrumpSandbox sounds good
brb
@WeeOne I have seen the vids....Watch Mormon archeology vids on Youtube and the Welsh kings...Arthur was likely 3 different kings all named Arthur and they travelled to North America
He' s Said to be buried here in Nova Scotia and the native People still protect Him . King Arthur
Very interesting...
Lots of our History has been changed
Maybe that is where we start then...
Educating on our actual history...
Since it is not taught else where. Many people do not believe Canada is part of the Monarch. At least one being my mom.
We do not know our history from here or before here , Its all been a Lie with a little sprinkle of truth here and there
Too much MK Ultra
You have to go back to Pliny the elder. Modern historians scoff at him...but then they find the Tarim mummies in China and yeah the ancient historians were telling the truth
LOL
and Giants bones everywhere
