2018-03-27 20:59:17 UTC

Am listening to @daddydragon too. He's awesome!

2018-03-27 20:59:29 UTC

I love his accent 😃

2018-03-27 20:59:45 UTC

Yup!

2018-03-27 21:00:17 UTC

WW2 was all about 3 factions of the Cabal fighting it out over supremacy

2018-03-27 21:00:46 UTC

Natural World Order...survival of the fittest

2018-03-27 21:01:29 UTC

I actually have so many questions about WW2 I wouldn't even know where to begin. Could we have a discussion about that here too if anyone would like to?

2018-03-27 21:03:06 UTC

My husband is from England. Came over in 1967 from Southampton. Doesn't have much of an accent anymore. ☹

2018-03-27 21:03:55 UTC

I think Poland and Russia have alot of the info about WW2 we are missing....Thats why everyone is pissed off at them

2018-03-27 21:05:02 UTC

It would be great to have a discussion on WW2. We need the truth.

2018-03-27 21:05:30 UTC

Very interesting.... my grandfather was a Navy Vet and wouldn't ever say a word about it. I have had a lot of feelings in regards to what he knew but could never find confirmation.

2018-03-27 21:06:03 UTC

@here so you'll notice i added a couple channels to the server, they're off to the left of chat. one is <#428295262104977418>. i thought it would be a good spot to add stuff from twitter/youtube etc from time to time that you want everyone to see. kinda like our own custom feed for what everyone is finding. please try not to spam it but suggest channels/ accounts to follow. also <#428295391616958474>. ill try to come up with specific issues or legislation that needs to be addressed in canada through our conversations. and make a list of them for everyone to see. 2 that i think we can agree on already is repealing the Indian Act, and Sucsesion from the british empire. might as well start small right lol

2018-03-27 21:06:18 UTC

Patton said a few things at the end that got him killed

2018-03-27 21:06:22 UTC

I did find some Patents he had that he didn't tell anyone about...

2018-03-27 21:06:46 UTC

@CandleLady i could talk WW2 all day long, im a bit of a history buff lol

2018-03-27 21:06:51 UTC

my grandfather was also @CandleLady ! He died last year (@101) and never talked about the War until his last few years- and even then.... indirectly and very vague on details

2018-03-27 21:07:22 UTC

I had a grandfather from each side. They became the best of friends

2018-03-27 21:08:12 UTC

@Gab.ai/cannuker777 I like direct actions! I think that'll be key here. If it isn't legislation, maybe it's coming up with concrete and possible solutions to problems like the water problem that can be presented and remedied when we get the right people in leadership. It's one thing I love about POTUS, he is very soutions-oriented! He gets right on it!

2018-03-27 21:09:01 UTC

Well thats what it takes....less commitees and more action

2018-03-27 21:09:30 UTC

Mine passed away of Fibrosis in his lungs from Asbestos. He was 79. Such an amazing man but I was probably the most like him and he was gone before I could ever ask those questions he may have just answered.

2018-03-27 21:09:31 UTC

@hannahconpanna good idea! maybe ill do subsections like include it in 1st nations actions, or infrastructure

2018-03-27 21:10:39 UTC

beleive it or not i recently met a 94 year old woman who emmigrated from Belgium to Canada in 1947. and she loves talking about the war too. its unreal

2018-03-27 21:11:08 UTC

Really @Gab.ai/cannuker777 that's awesome!

2018-03-27 21:13:39 UTC

My oldest uncle told me lots of stories about growing up in Germany. Life was very good for them before the war. They didnt know much about what really went on. In their eyes Hitler saved them from starvation and poverty. The average German had no clue about what was all going on.

2018-03-27 21:14:51 UTC

@CandleLady yeah she told me a story about her dad. after the "goshtoopa" as she says in her accent moved into her town they had to give up 1/2 their pork, 1/2 their milk and more to the nazis. well her dad said i aint raisin no pork for the F-in commendant so he would keep it in the basement and spend every single night with the pig to keep it quiet for fear of being found out. well when the war ended she told her dad hes now unemployed to let the pig outa the basement so they could eat it. and eat it they did the whole village had a feast with food that had been hidden from the nazis!

2018-03-27 21:15:46 UTC
