now it's pitch black when youa re at the bottom of the ocean
even with lights on
or if it's night time at all anywhere it's like pitch black except in the starting area
or at the very bottom of the ocean with glowy stuf
basically you need to get a stasis rifle, then stun the thing, then stab it like 120 times
your blood pumps through the roof when you do it, your heart is like pumping like crazy
I can't tell you how many times it's been like "AAGGHJGHGHGHASHGHGHAFDSHDFHH!!!1IONE?!", then be like, alright, time to do it again
You just sort of get used to it lol
>stasis rifle
don't know what the fuck this is, and how many thousands of hours would I have to spend swimming naked with giant hungry beheamoths before I even found it
I liked subnautica except for dunes biome. fuck that shit I avoided it as much as possible
>biome
just leaving that shitty little lifepod was hell
then shit blows up and you get these crabsnake things under your shitty little pod
lol yeah, the dunes are fucking scary as fuck
I love me some crabsnakes, tasty
Yeah I encountered my first crabsnake right at the lifepod too. Was very unsettling
>dunes
is that what the area you spawn in is called?
doesn't look very duney
See what you gotta do is, find some rifle fragments in the red-grass fields, then get you a seamoths, then explore in to the weird jellyshroom caves, and once you got that accomplished and go to the, well, I don't want any spoilers but the above ground island, then you can get enough stuff to build up a base, get a moonpool to dock your vehicles, and save up enough for a cyclops to go to the under dark
Dunes is near the ship crash site
:stfuandpostmemes:
Then once you are in the underddark, you have to save up, again, for the ultra under-water rivers, to go in to the lava zone, and then free the planet from the laser gun
very simples
new lifepod feature for subnautica
Also I'd google half the stuff you need to find out lol
The ibggest problem in the game is finding the fragments and getting power, and later on getting power is super easy
You need to get a thermal generator and then you can basically produce power anywhere
if I need google to figure shit out, the game pacing is garbage
Which takes going to a few special places
Well googling it makes it easier
But I did it without googling the first time
The only problem was the game was incomplete and it took like 24 hours of playtime or so to do it the second time
unless the lazy rich cunts are gonna mod me in some actual defensive options, I don't see how
You basically learn to have your heart racing all the time, duh
yeah, fuck that
There are some defensive options, like the sea moth has a stun feature later on
and you can ram shit with the cylops, and also you get the stasis rifle
Oh and the mods do have a laser rifle lol
I played it with mods, is pretty cool to use a laser rifle
ram shit, because getting closer to these fucking giant monsters sounds like a great idea
