Nazi Germany had the strength of the Soviet Union as their most powerful Axis power ally.
If they haven't screwed the pooch with Operation Barbarossa, the war would have likely taken alot longer.
That's the choice that made the least sense there, as far as I see.

Even waiting til Spring would have had consequences. The Soviet winter counteroffensive of 1941 would inevitably result in the loss of any meaningful gains on the party of the Nazi party.
But the relief columns/panzer divisions wouldnt have gotten bogged down in the snow slush the russians called roads

Shouldve left the tactics to the guys who were good at it. 3 years as a Sergeant in WW1 doesnt qualify you to lead a 17.8m person military
