Putin certainly acts like an old guard soviet but I guess thats what happens when you were a KGB agent when the USSR collapsed
I'd say the lesson to be learned after the end of the cold war is that the Russians today are not the fucking soviet union
and making literally every foreign policy decision on such grounds is how we make retarded alliances with atrocious actors like the ISIS kingdom, saudi arabia
Nope, in fact most of the youth want to gtfo of Russia
Cause it's the land of corruption and inability to climb the socio-economic ladder
*Aka lack of opportunity*
And also how we end up bafflingly refusing to communicate with Cuba, after they've already shown a willingness to step away from socialism
would be nice to establish more friendly contacts south of the border
unless someone wants to try and tell me why we have more in common with fat, greasy, superstitious god kings than someone we used to buy cigars and bananas from
Fuck this Country, Jesus Christ
THAT'S protected Speech?
only because its anti ICE
other way around hed get the book thrown at him, i have very little doubt
Does that mean the whole "Fire in a Movie Theatre" is a-ok now?
nah non political, that still counts
lol
What if it's at a Screening for 'No Safe Spaces' or that Abortion movie?
Or a Political Movie
Politically Conservative that is
Facist Fire
Here's the funny thing though, that's protected speech, but I'm pretty sure I'm on a Watch list b/c I have a Kaczynski Quote on my Facebook
From his Manifesto (Had to read it for a Homeland Security Class in College):
"What we do suggest is that the human race might easily permit itself to drift into a position of such dependence on the machines that it would have no practical choice but to accept all of the machines’ decisions. As society and the problems that face it become more and more complex and as machines become more and more intelligent, people will let machines make more and more of their decisions for them, simply because machine-made decisions will bring better results than man-made ones. Eventually a stage may be reached at which the decisions necessary to keep the system running will be so complex that human beings will be incapable of making them intelligently. At that stage the machines will be in effective control. People won’t be able to just turn the machines off, because they will be so dependent on them that turning them off would amount to suicide."
Seems pretty accurate so far tbh
I mean, if it was a machine just for me I would be ok with that, if it was one dealing with a group I don't know how well i would trust it at first.
chances are it would think of me like a pet.
Well, the principle could be applied to things like Facebook or Google; even though they support causes that are against what some people believe, the people who disagree with tech censorship or other causes are unable to stop using it because there is no real alternative
now see I think think those companies are that important, google would be hard to replace but it would be done in a few years.
but I don't have facebook and have no intention of getting it.

Well, the issue is Google, FB, and Twitter essentially have a Monopoly. People have tried to make their own search engines and Social Media Sites, but those get shut down
wtf
Ima need to message my city reps now
God damn that's a dumbass move
*Time to smash some skulls 'w'*
there are search engines other then google, bing and duckduckgo are two that i know of right off the top of my head.
now i do know that gab was axed by someone in a way that i very much think is wrong.
For instance:
>Individual banned from Social Media after Massive Pressure campaign because of the person's views
"Why don't you make your own social media company?"
>The Individual creates a Social Media platform. Eventually, the same mob contacts the ISP, and the site is shut down
"Why don't you make your own ISP?"
>The individual purchases some Servers so that they are able to get their website up. The mob contacts the company that owns the servers to get the person shut down.
Continue until...
yah, that is a problem that i don't know how to deal with, and i know it is going on.
it was Sargon whos move to SubscribeStar brought all that heat to them wasn't it?
