Leaving the ME entirely is fantasy. It's not going to happen. There's just too much there and it's clear Trump isn't going to do it. Next best thing is to get the West to play more of a role and it's not just the US taking all the heat.

me personally id like us to just provide intelligence to our allies, and then perhaps influence things via targeted attacks when its 100% necessary to save american lives
