@The Electric Lizard

So you can separate a philosophy from it's outcomes? I mean, "it's a better philosophy it just happens to kill more people." I'm no philosopher but if that is how it works I am happy to have nothing to do with it.

They aren't exactly for any communist policies like democratising the workplace

2020-01-12 00:35:18 UTC

dont care

2020-01-12 00:35:22 UTC

its all communism to me

2020-01-12 00:35:22 UTC

But they do campaign for Modern Progressive policies like the transgenderism stuff

2020-01-12 00:36:20 UTC

@Jym I consider the death count of a philosophy to be of little importance given that pretty much every philosophy has got someone killed at some point

2020-01-12 00:36:33 UTC

id even consider perhaps that even just women being aloud to vote is communism

2020-01-12 00:36:34 UTC

Just depends on how you count it up

2020-01-12 00:36:47 UTC

I'm sure the Communists would argue that Capitalism has killed more

2020-01-12 00:37:03 UTC

@UnScottable How is that communist?

AHAHA AHAHA HAHAHA

@The Electric Lizard

Sure technically there is an LD50 for water. There is also a LD50 for turpentine. This hardly leads me to think that drinking turpentine is a good idea.

2020-01-12 00:39:59 UTC

this guys french

2020-01-12 00:40:03 UTC

or something

2020-01-12 00:40:06 UTC

TEB

2020-01-12 00:40:54 UTC

@Jym That's a completely different scenario

2020-01-12 00:41:40 UTC

My point is that we should look at a philosophy based on it's ideas not based on death count

2020-01-12 00:41:49 UTC

@The Electric Lizard

Like I said I'm no philosopher. Perhaps you can explain how, philosophically, the more murderous ideology is 'better'.

2020-01-12 00:42:08 UTC

Capitalism has got many people killed so should we completely ignore it despite it working quite well?

2020-01-12 00:42:27 UTC

progressivism is generally just left liberalism on a religious level

2020-01-12 00:42:27 UTC

Or should we look at the philosophy itself and ignore death count?

2020-01-12 00:42:37 UTC

liberalizing culture

2020-01-12 00:43:03 UTC

People only bring up death count when they are looking at a philosophy in a partisan manner

2020-01-12 00:43:32 UTC

I'm fine with death count as capitalism is better than communism or the second-place winner of the genocide Olympics fascism.

2020-01-12 00:43:41 UTC

yeah i don't think so

2020-01-12 00:43:51 UTC

liberalism and capitalism beats both in death count

2020-01-12 00:44:01 UTC

british empire alone would beat both

2020-01-12 00:44:45 UTC

i think even just british india alone would beat both

2020-01-12 00:45:08 UTC

This reminds me of people in Baltimore

2020-01-12 00:45:43 UTC

"I'm rebelling against the patriarchy! Let's burn down OUR OWN NEIGHBORHOOD!"

2020-01-12 00:46:00 UTC

Not sure if the British Empire qualifies as their major economic projects were state-run companies (the East India etc,) That's how they get to tortured logic like calling **King** Leopold's adventures in Congo 'Capitalism'.

2020-01-12 00:46:16 UTC

It all depends on how you count it, If you lean to Communism you can count that Capitalism has killed more, Just look at all the people who died from illness despite cures being made due to wealth inequality under Capitalism

2020-01-12 00:46:39 UTC

Plus all wars that were fought over economic interests

2020-01-12 00:46:53 UTC

I would agree with you that adherence to communism is indicative of a basic inability to do math.....

2020-01-12 00:46:55 UTC

Capitalism vs Communism debates are like “what would happen if Germany won ww2” or “AK vs AR” debates
