it's a much better way to live then to think that one deserves the fruits of another's labour, at least then the person is being honest in saying "i deserve because I an able to take"

well the only good thing that could come form removeing the electoral college is now my vote counts rather then just being lost in my blue state.

Yeah basically. That way in states like Cali the local politicians have to campaign in more than just LA and SF.

my state is more or less run by 2 or 3 cities.
