British virus that's largely and mainly attacking China?

2020-02-05 18:51:54 UTC

It's a matter of ascertaining the origin of the virus to understand the intent of the spread. There will be geopolitical consequences because of this irrespective of it all, but I could see China engineering a virus like this to cull their male population to try to achieve gender parity.

Someone should Sue her then

2020-02-05 19:14:26 UTC

So Let me get this straight so trump's speech is a official government document

2020-02-05 19:14:33 UTC

Correct?

2020-02-05 19:14:36 UTC

@ComradeChaos I wouldn't be so quick to point towards the patent or the article as some sorta gotcha, considering that "Coronavirus" refers to a GROUP of viruses (of which SARS and MERS are apart of)

2020-02-05 19:14:50 UTC

I'm not trying to: I just found the claim interesting

2020-02-05 19:14:50 UTC

From what I'm seeing, the Patent refers to SARS, not 2019-nCoV

2020-02-05 19:14:58 UTC

Because the virus seems to be more deadly to asian men

2020-02-05 19:14:59 UTC

It's a misled or purposely fearmongering claim

2020-02-05 19:15:33 UTC

I'm gonna gonna assume the former just to be safe

2020-02-05 19:15:40 UTC

@SPOOKY Phil, Ruler of Heck Maybe they took genetic material from some of the pneumonia inducing strains listed and put it in the viral envelope of a bat coronavirus?

2020-02-05 19:15:53 UTC

bruh

2020-02-05 19:15:59 UTC

okay

2020-02-05 19:16:01 UTC

first off

2020-02-05 19:16:05 UTC

"bat coronavirus" is vague

2020-02-05 19:16:12 UTC

I can be very specific

2020-02-05 19:16:14 UTC

one second

2020-02-05 19:16:17 UTC

I'm 99% sure that ALL of the Coronavirus variants came from bats

2020-02-05 19:17:10 UTC

@JewishBastard As far as we know

2020-02-05 19:17:11 UTC

>>Using different viral envelope proteins that recognize different receptors can vary the range of cells that can be transduced, but still does not provide much specificity. The difficulty is that, because retroviral vectors cannot be generated at a high titer, it is not possible to get a large number of vector particles to the desired cell type in vivo. The viral particles would bind to many cells they encounter and therefore, would be diluted out before reaching their target.

2020-02-05 19:17:14 UTC

Are you starting to get it?

2020-02-05 19:17:37 UTC

You use a vehicle that targets receptors that statistically occur more in one group of people

2020-02-05 19:17:51 UTC

MERS came from Betacoronavirus, as did SARS and the new strain

2020-02-05 19:18:02 UTC

Did you look at the first link that I sent you

2020-02-05 19:18:09 UTC

I did

2020-02-05 19:18:14 UTC
2020-02-05 19:18:21 UTC

that's what I mentioned betacoronavirus

2020-02-05 19:18:24 UTC

>>envelope protein [Bat SARS-like coronavirus]

2020-02-05 19:18:25 UTC

```Viruses; Riboviria; Nidovirales; Cornidovirineae; Coronaviridae;
Orthocoronavirinae; Betacoronavirus; Sarbecovirus.```
2020-02-05 19:18:30 UTC
It mentions the VIRAL ENVELOPE
2020-02-05 19:18:33 UTC
it is the outer sheath
2020-02-05 19:18:45 UTC
That's not the virus itself
2020-02-05 19:19:07 UTC
You can inject genetic code into that sheath and use that as a vehicle for your gene therapy or disease
Viral Envelopes seem kinda natural, though.
