Immigration isn't
colonisation is when a new nation is formed.
immigration can be forced
immigration is people coming into a nation
Colonisation ignores the wishes of local citizens
with that nation's consent
Immigration can be stopped if native citizens wish it
Do you honestly think most britons want 200,000 people coming in each year?
Anti-Immigration parties have been around for years
Most people don't care as long as they've got a good reason to be here
Lmao
And have those parties reduced immigration?
No because they never won an election
No because the people haven't voted for them tbh
The people didn't vote in the BUF
What is a "good reason"?
Or the BNP
Or the NF
They could have
And chose not to
And never do
Depends on who you ask
The Conservatives have never pledged to end immigration
And of course the Conservatives promise to try and lower it
They pledged to reduce it
Plus the Conservatives don't see immigration as any kind of invasion
The idea that the people don't want immigration and that the government is forcing it on them is completely absurd
@Kunarian Well why do you think that is? Because it's a very popular policy
Why didn't the BNP win any elections
If it is such a popular policy
Most people voting Conservative aren’t voting for their immigration policy
The media demonsiation and infiltration by bad actors
Immigration isn’t even a big issue anymore
It literally is *the* biggest issue
It’s dropping and dropping
No it really isn't
I don't remember the exact number but i think the latest polls say that only 11% of people think Immigration is the most important issue
What was brexit about then? Just Muh sovereignty? Sovereignty to do what?
But my point is though that people have had chance after chance after chance to vote in parties that have promised to end immigration completely and they have never voted them in
@TheCaledonian Mainly about Sovereignty yes
