No party at the moment wants to end immigration
The BNP does
They actually stood in 2019 too
Yeah discord lagged
Just didn't win again
You missed his point about media demonisation
Yeah discord lagged
Well if the people wanted immigration to end so badly then i don't think they would be swayed by the media
This is going round in circles
Can you guys not build upon what has been discussed
This is going round in circles
But you also have to look at the BUF since they didn't win any elections despite the media not being as much of an influence back then
The BUF were banned lmao
After standing in multiple elections and losing
If no party wants to end migration and no party wanting to end migration gets many votes maybe then people don’t want to end migration
And they also stood in some elections after WW2
and again didn't win
We could even have a referendum on the death penalty if we wanted one now
Okay so let me get this straight
You keep saying immigration hasn't destroyed a nation
Immigration alone hasn't
Immigration combined with other factors has
I'm not saying immigration alone
But immigration makes fixing those other factors much more harder
Invasion followed up by immigration can destroy the identity of a nation
too much immigration is shit
You can see that in Northern Ireland for example
Right
So if it's done "peacefully" it's okay?
If people are not forced into the nation and the public of the nation have not voted against it then yes
The public's views on immigration really don't matter if they don't express those views through votes
70% of the British public don't want to be a minority in this country
A big reason why we have never been given a referendum on immigration is because the government doesn't want to hear the answer
I agree there
They would never ever run that
But unless people vote for Anti-Immigration parties it really doesn't matter
Or they would and fix the results
Democracy isn't my god
@The Electric Lizard Expand on why you think they wouldn't want to hear the answer?
Because major parties support immigration largely for economic reasons
