So if you look through all of the stories that we tell, things on the TV, books, etc etc. they all tell similar stories and fall into different taxonomies or types of stories - for example, Emperor's New clothes, hero's journey - in each of these stories there is common plot points, and the point at which you try to judge the taxonomies could yield a different cohort of taxonomies.
The one thing that happens throughout time is that we relive, and repeat history, and this yields us new old stories.

One thing that people (like myself) who are not strictly religious but think that the bible and it's counter parts have something important to tell, is that the stories continue throughout time.

Thus this is my piss poor explaination of what types of stories.

I apologise if it was rambling or repeating some points - feel free to rephrase it if you think it can be simplified down a lot
