jesus fucking crist it's homing pigeon missiles again
Eh, basically creating a meteorite impact zone at whim is pretty potent.
Also
assuming you can control it
Don't let this distract you from the BLOOMBERG SURGE
@Jeremy But then you can't confirm it's effectiveness either. For all intents and purposes, your statements about it's workings and it's effectiveness are just hot air unless backed up by substantial evidence... Like being able to find an track a foreign countrys operating sub without their knowledge.
dropping a rod on earth is not like actually dropping it. it's about de-orbiting it properly
Yeah, with our knowledge of orbital mechanics? Barring unforeseen issues, totally can control it.
Well, yeah. XD
good good phew
But we've gotten pretty good about the matter.

@Seven Proxies
During a war game. I doubt you'd bode well in a real conflict. π

I already had the source pulled up.
@Jeremy The wargame even had to have it's parameters change to fit your navy better so you had a chance at achieving the objective. Pathetic π
There's a difference between an *exercise* and the real thing.
*Like* life or death, is not life or death.
Ok so my prediction is that the Turkish Army will launch a full scale offensive somewhere in March which will kick Assad's forces out of the de-escalation zone
damm i watched scott manley's vid on the rods but cant find it now
Yeah, I know which one you're speaking of. @svarozhyc
wanted to refresh now
The US has virtually given Turkey the greenlight for the offensive
Epic
Oof, I don't wanna be allied with Turkey, though. >.>
@Seven Proxies,
```In 2015, during joint exercises between the French and US Navy in the North Atlantic, a French Saphir-class nuclear submarine, which maneuvered βon the side of the enemyβ, βsankβ an American aircraft carrier and most of its escort.
Saphir trained with the 12th US Navy Attack Fleet, consisting of USS Theodore Roosevelt, several Ticonderoga cruisers, an Arleigh Burke-class counter-torpedo, and several Los Angeles-class attack submarines.
In 2007, also a diesel-electric submarine of the navy of Canada, in exercises with the British navy, βsankβ the carrier HMS Illustrious.
In naval carrier exercises, submarines are often used, which represent a real and significant threat to the safety of the American war fleets β something that does not seem to be necessary to prove.```
russia probably tried their best not to be seen there
'what MiGs????'
nothing to do with us, they hacked our plane
π
Nah
Even the French managed to sink one. π
@Jeremy As the article concludes though, Subs are just a plain horror for any navy to deal with.
Even though HMS Gotland is likely more advanced than the known Russian sub designs since we're a more technologically advanced country than Putins' hood. They have far more subs, and a lot of completely unknown ones operating the seas.
Russia is quite vocal in its criticisms of Turkey's intervention in Idlib
They called a Turkish offensive a "worst case scenario"
@Jeremy What can be taken away from this wargame is that Nimitz class carriers are just plain shit and a huge waste of money.
French mocking is because of their gov't.. not because of their assets. @Jeremy
of course that's why they cant be associated with provoking them π
@Jeremy Works for bullying inferior third world countries that have no chance of fighting back anyway.
Not so effective against a first world country with subs.
