It's uninhabitable.

2020-02-21 09:55:32 UTC

it can't be settled, that's the point

2020-02-21 09:55:44 UTC

That's like saying we should all move to Antarctica.

2020-02-21 09:55:52 UTC

jesus christ Jeremy can you use one of your two braincells for a second

2020-02-21 09:56:16 UTC

Have you ever seen those domiciles carved into the sides of mountain rock?

2020-02-21 09:56:19 UTC

Anyone up for settling the whole of Siberia.

2020-02-21 09:56:42 UTC

Humans can adapt to whatever your landmass has to offer, that I can assure you, @Ethreen42.

2020-02-21 09:57:15 UTC

Pretty sure humans change the environment precisely because we're *incapable* of that @Jeremy

2020-02-21 09:57:40 UTC

And?

2020-02-21 09:57:48 UTC

And?

2020-02-21 09:57:52 UTC

Yes, and?

2020-02-21 09:57:57 UTC

What else is there to say.

2020-02-21 09:57:58 UTC

Who cares.

2020-02-21 09:58:13 UTC

National parks are a wonderful idea, likewise so is the idea of urban greenery but then you end up with crap like green belt and planning laws which ensure ugly, short lived, interest driven crap is built

2020-02-21 09:58:16 UTC

Who cares that we can't adapt?
You should. You're telling them to.

2020-02-21 09:58:17 UTC

afaik, australia is not capable of sustaining a massive economy and population because it is fucking terrible for human prosperity

outback and desert and so on

2020-02-21 09:59:07 UTC

They can adapt, @fvriovs. They can do whatever they wish to the environment to ensure they're able to survive. I don't care.

2020-02-21 09:59:08 UTC

for a continent with a huge territory, it is deceptively... inconsequential? weak?

2020-02-21 09:59:09 UTC

>he makes point
>I make contradicting counterpoint
>"And?"

2020-02-21 09:59:17 UTC

Jeremy is the type of person who if Australia flooded with 50 Million people his genius solution to prevent over population would be "bro just carve domiciles in mountains or move to the outback "

2020-02-21 10:00:04 UTC

They can adapt, because it is my way or the high way.

2020-02-21 10:00:06 UTC

Ethreen is the type of person who will reduce his nation's population to a few hundred thousand through central planning.

2020-02-21 10:00:20 UTC

Muh environment.

"guys who cares about the environment think about the GDP"

2020-02-21 10:00:51 UTC

All of us are the type of people who won't be making these decision

2020-02-21 10:00:58 UTC

Just let in another fifty million migrants into a country that can't sustain that kind of blow to their infrastructure, food production or culture.

2020-02-21 10:01:05 UTC

Libtards, man.

2020-02-21 10:01:10 UTC

No where your policies have been implemented have ever improved the environment and human life, @Ethreen42.

Gdp obsession is the main Vector for commie infection

2020-02-21 10:01:44 UTC

90% sure there's a slight difference between use of basic tools to clear spaces for human habitation and agriculture and a demand for complete terraforming.

English moors used to be forests. We cut them all down for agriculture. After centuries, the weather changed, soil became shit. Now it's just empty, grassy hills and rock.

2020-02-21 10:01:46 UTC

you got to watch the number grow

2020-02-21 10:01:48 UTC

bro

2020-02-21 10:02:07 UTC

GDP obsession is a great way to rationalize undermining your own country and its citizenry for your own personal gain.

2020-02-21 10:02:18 UTC

The world is not going to end anytime soon.

2020-02-21 10:02:24 UTC

@Ethreen42, you could grow GDP by having people bury and dig up trash, then bury it again.

2020-02-21 10:02:46 UTC

Mr. Keynes over here, @Ethreen42.

2020-02-21 10:02:49 UTC

Is that an argument for it or against it?
