Okay, gayboi

@Ethreen42 Honestly, any culture can integrate into Australia. It just wonā€™t happen in a single generation.
Proper integration requires two things:
1) Multiple generations
2) A society willing and able to *cough* ā€œencourageā€ *cough* said integration.

If youā€™ve got a ā€œembrace all cultures even if theyā€™re fuckinā€™ degenerates that cut off little girls clitorisesā€ attitude in your country (as Australia has had since the fkn 90ā€™s) you arenā€™t going to see any integration. Youā€™re going to see gangs of Sudanese teenagers breaking into peopleā€™s houses and beating the shit out of old women.

2020-02-27 23:09:05 UTC

When the children of Sudanese migrants are a bigger problem than the original Sudanese migrants themselves, itā€™s quite clear that weā€™re failing on number 2).

2020-02-27 23:10:25 UTC

The entire west has shrunk away from asserting it's own culture

2020-02-27 23:10:34 UTC

Indeed

2020-02-27 23:10:35 UTC

As Douglas Murray says, the west won't even take it's own side in an argument

2020-02-27 23:12:17 UTC

I think this is a bit of a red herring though, for a culture to 'integrate into australia' it must dissolve into australian culture. I think this whole "the same, but different" thing doesn't really work

2020-02-27 23:13:18 UTC

Many second generation immigrants from china, india, etc are as aussie as anything. Many are also barely changed from their parents culture

Migrants need to stop thinking of themselves as *X*-Australians, and start thinking of themselves as Australians first.

2020-02-27 23:14:01 UTC

exactly

2020-02-27 23:14:01 UTC

they should remember their convict heritage

2020-02-27 23:14:12 UTC

I mean even consider the term ABC - australian born chinese

2020-02-27 23:14:20 UTC

@Eric *Ill fkn shank you then take ur booty, cunt*

2020-02-27 23:14:24 UTC

Imaigne "Chinese born Australian"

2020-02-27 23:14:26 UTC

2020-02-27 23:14:43 UTC

2020-02-27 23:14:46 UTC

<:uwu_wut_FB:625182914497478666>

2020-02-27 23:14:46 UTC

they're trying to have it both ways, that their race and ethnicity are immutable and forever tied to the nation of China

2020-02-27 23:14:51 UTC

sounds pretty gay

2020-02-27 23:14:54 UTC

but us whites are just like, whatever man

2020-02-27 23:15:08 UTC

p sure straya got a lot of chinese migrants due to its relatively close position

2020-02-27 23:15:24 UTC

no it's because of our incredibly loose immigration

2020-02-27 23:15:40 UTC

If you told an Aussie in a pub that heā€™s a Englishman first, heā€™d fkn glass you.

2020-02-27 23:15:48 UTC

doesn't really matter if it's a 12 hour flight of 24 hour flight

2020-02-27 23:16:13 UTC

Australia isn't really that close to china

2020-02-27 23:16:26 UTC

there aren't millions of chinese in pretty much any other nearby country

2020-02-27 23:16:38 UTC

2020-02-27 23:17:37 UTC

Thailand is actually a really good example of integration.
My wife is Thai.
