Guess what I made wifi working with wifi card from x200ma

2020-02-13 05:16:44 UTC

So Acer doesn't have bios whitelist confirmed. Yay!

2020-02-13 05:44:06 UTC

Keyboard feels like crap

2020-02-13 06:07:53 UTC

And battery life is superior comparing to other laptops

2020-02-13 06:08:12 UTC

Probably best except my $0 Mac

It might help to get the service manual and see what screw types fit

Also you can get replacement keys online from replacementlaptopkeys.com for about $4 per key, ive used them for when keys broke and the replacements are as close to OE as you can get

Might go without saying but do use linux, ive seen better battery life and performance of course so it definitely will help if you dont mind sacrificing compatibility

2020-02-13 20:35:21 UTC

It's very random judging by the ones I've harvested recently

2020-02-13 20:36:11 UTC

Funny enough it's usually the thing people forget to take when they throw away laptops

2020-02-14 03:34:41 UTC

I actually harvested inspiron screws and it works to hold things in place

2020-02-14 03:34:57 UTC

The goal is not to sell it, but to make it work for everyday purposes

2020-02-14 03:35:15 UTC

And keys broken: I use external keyboard most of tumes

2020-02-14 03:36:58 UTC

Have you found a solution to that mine has the same issue

2020-02-14 03:37:25 UTC

Which problem?

2020-02-14 03:38:13 UTC

And I couldn't upgrade ram with existing sticks cause it was ddr3l not ddr3 and it only supports 1.35v RAM

2020-02-14 03:47:40 UTC

The keyboard not responding im sure it's a hardware issue

2020-02-14 03:50:36 UTC

Not responding? All times or periodically?

2020-02-14 03:50:44 UTC

If periodically check cable connection

2020-02-14 03:50:53 UTC

My touchpad issue was due to cable connection

2020-02-14 03:51:01 UTC

It was connected loosely

2020-02-14 07:32:41 UTC

Something funny about Chromebook: You can install android version of firefox on it

2020-02-14 14:09:17 UTC

It's all the time

2020-02-14 15:16:16 UTC

Even if it’s all the time check cable connection, still

2020-02-14 15:17:01 UTC

These ribbon cables are sometimes not connected properly

7 hours remaining! This laptop got the best battery!

2020-02-17 04:16:52 UTC

I like it

2020-02-17 15:33:22 UTC

Check the cycles with batteryinfoview

2020-02-17 15:33:47 UTC

If they legit threw away a battery with so few cycles on it they are legit smooth brain

2020-02-17 15:50:19 UTC

Cycle is not displaying but it has 90.8% battery health

2020-02-17 15:50:28 UTC

It has even higher capacity than my ZenBook

2020-02-17 15:51:22 UTC

Why would anyone leave that
