The UK had a boarding school system that plucked out smart kids from across the country, they got rid of that for the most part

Now all the good schools are surrounded by expensive house prices

My school system had something called adaptive learning

If you were good at something they pushed you towards it

Some kids liked theater and some liked maths

So they got pushed towards those things

Sadly they cut the program to fund a construction project for the school

My school had "shove you in classes with stupid people"
