@fennec fox and you..love assault rifles that were never mentioned and have nothing to do with muskets

I should carry around a flint lock as a gun law protest

2020-02-21 18:26:38 UTC

@👑Shah Jake👑 if the second amendment was about muskets then it would be the right to bear muskets. The founding fathers knew that weapons technology would improve in the future.

I don't think the constitution argument is important

2020-02-21 19:19:43 UTC

Because if the constitution as written wasn't severely altered only white people would be allowed to be citizens

2020-02-21 20:35:54 UTC

Actually no it wouldn’t

2020-02-21 20:36:24 UTC

Because technically it being able to be altered is constitutional

2020-02-21 20:38:50 UTC

Also about gun control
It could be made constitutional but in reality it already exists in some form or another in most state legislatures

2020-02-21 20:39:18 UTC

The only one I can think of that doesn’t have it is probably Alaska

2020-02-21 20:39:39 UTC

But they have larger issues than what gun they kill a bear with

2020-02-21 20:39:52 UTC

One of the issues being the bear

2020-02-21 23:09:52 UTC

@fennec fox where are the militias/Minutemen nowadays do they still prepare for battle in a minute? No

2020-02-22 00:01:18 UTC

@darops of cheese the original constitution states it's only for free white people

2020-02-22 00:48:55 UTC

It also states that it can be amended

2020-02-22 01:08:51 UTC

Right so the gun control argument from the constitution is accurate but not foundational

2020-02-22 02:46:47 UTC

i wipe my ass with the constitution

2020-02-22 02:46:52 UTC

it's useless and immoral

2020-02-22 02:46:59 UTC

and is the tool of tyrants and autocrats

2020-02-22 02:57:02 UTC

self defense is a moral right without a need for legal justification yes

2020-02-22 02:57:38 UTC

as for the constitution being immoral, if its designed to be amended id say it would depend on which versions feature identity politics and which versions dont but yeah

2020-02-22 03:04:06 UTC

@Local no one thinks the constitution will protect us from everything or work perfectly but it’s done a pretty alright job

2020-02-22 03:04:39 UTC

your precious constitution is built on the fact that it allowed the enslavment of fellow humans, and when it's changed most of the time it's to restrict liberty

2020-02-22 06:04:48 UTC

I don’t think the constitution restricts liberties so much as it basically just defines them

2020-02-22 18:28:59 UTC

Apparently peasants are rich according to Ollie

2020-02-22 18:29:23 UTC

🤦‍♂️

2020-02-22 19:14:43 UTC

if you think a piece of paper defines rights you're a knob

2020-02-23 02:03:03 UTC

^

2020-02-23 02:19:41 UTC

And yet I don’t see you in jail

2020-02-23 02:19:52 UTC

So either you’re a hypocrite or a poser

2020-02-23 02:20:44 UTC

because i know how to beat cops

2020-02-23 02:20:53 UTC

ive been threatened with illegal arrest 5 times in one day

2020-02-23 02:20:55 UTC

they're just dumb

2020-02-24 18:00:52 UTC

You see this is why we need a small govt that we can manage albeit one thats productive, otherwise we either get george orwells wet dream or pointless arguments as to whether a piece of paper defines us or not (and while in moral principle it shouldnt, practically speaking its significant in regards to basically everything libertarians would consider holy as it provides sound definitions of the rights freedoms and principles we currently advocate for) ...

The constitution irregardless of semantics was intended as a small govt arrangement, and while it defines legal matters on a collective basis, a good thing about it its not so overbearing of a basis that our sesame credit gets ruined everytime we jerk off, and not so underbearing of a basis that no one is held accountable irregardless of religious or political belief, which inevitably results in yugoslavisation and microcollectivisation of said group and then middle age feudalism 2.0 electric boogaloo happens...

Besides, the constitution not only was a far lesser evil than the alternative (rothschild fiat currency enforced debt slavery by order of the king of england unto the colonies) but (again, assuming theres nothing about it that puts anyone above another on the basis of identity)

If the constitutional definition of slavery is being able to defend your own property without necissitating outside help, freedom to practice religion, freedom of speech, freedom of association, and private property rights, then sign me the fuck up because society went wrong the moment we started pandering to anyone who would even fancy the concept of, and concepts that support big government + the unholy principalities, powers, forces and tyranny it enables in the long term...

2020-02-25 06:42:22 UTC

You could’ve just said that I dislike being a slave to the constitution

2020-02-25 06:42:37 UTC

Instead of this barely coherent mess

2020-02-25 17:42:14 UTC

I was talking about how the constitution is necissarily significant in light of how much worse laws could be had, but ok

2020-02-25 17:48:39 UTC

2020-02-25 19:55:34 UTC

I was talking about its inportance from a legal standpoint... Besides the fact that anyone hellbent on taking over a country will find loopholes to exploit at some point anyhow, thats basically that
