From what I understood from talking with some of them is that its not that they claim Alexander is slavic

And the re education of the Bulgarian inhabitants of the regions of north Macedonia

But that the slavs who migrated there interbred with the locals

So they can claim partial old macedonian ancestry

So they claim to have Greek ancestry
