Hey, I have a newbie socialist on my hands and he’s getting into Trotskyism, plz send help
No ice picks though
I compiled this a few months back although I guess someone named Makhno might not be the biggest fan of most of the books in it: http://eregime.org/index.php?showtopic=17767
Oh am named Makhno ironically
I thought it was funny that a hard line ML would be named Makhno
😛
Makhno was a really bad anarchist
Even by anarchist standards
But I like his story
What's funny is that he was attacked as a "Bolshevik" by other anarchists in the 1920s due to his espousing Platformism
i.e. that anarchists need a relatively high degree of organization
to achieve anything
But what’s not too love about a drunk womanising warlord?
I want to be that
You from North America?
yes
I could tell by your spelling
in fact I have a big ol' list of Marxist works on US history: http://eregime.org/index.php?showtopic=17670
You’ve compiled some pretty good lists comrade
this is my latest one: http://eregime.org/index.php?showtopic=18020
CEO of lists
Those some cool lists dude
Personally i would like to see a source site on the PRP
No
People’s Republic of Poland
there's a bunch of parties that were named People's Revolutionary P--oh, that
I had someone I know scan this a while back: https://archive.org/details/ClassStruggleInSocialistPoland
which is a good analysis of why Solidarity became a thing
besides like "CIA/Vatican intrigues," which, while obviously a factor in keeping it afloat, don't explain Solidarity's initial emergence and popularity, hence why the author examines Polish society from the 1940s onward
I also scanned this Polish history of Poland a few years back: https://archive.org/details/TopolskiPoland1986
although it only goes up to like 1970
I have two other Polish histories of the country to scan (one written in like 1962, another written in like 1979) but none cover the postwar period much
I have tortured myself and read half of the holy family
