i agree on that point
i don't like shady charities that do a fraction of the actual charity work
and if i ever go live in my life, i'll do it with crap i salvaged out of trash or odd jobs
btw, i have to do odd jobs because i'm not currently employed and not allowed welfare for some odd reason they won't tell me about
not even on ss either even tho i'm old enough to get on it...i don't have medical nor dental coverage and i got chronic problems
most if not all charities i've come across in my life have ppl earning salaries, and not min wage ones
from the charity donations
majority only put in 5-15% of the donations towards the actual charity work
I'm going to be stupid and assume we are all capitalist here. We all want to make money. The people that have been doing most of the work should get paid. It has to be done right to keep the movement alive and to keep the dollers flowing. It is very possible to create a situation where everyone is more than happy. Just so you know I don't have a regular job, I dont get welfare, I don't have health coverage and I have problems equal to yours. I live in fucking central california . I do many things for cash. And I have a $2000 watch I got out of the trash
I hate goodwill/ salvation army, etc. They do not handle funds proper. Big scam.
well we all shouldn't be too greedy, it would hurt the movement if everybody looked like they were just out for money
dad told me when i was a kid, either get a job to afford stuff u want, or learn how to build or salvage it urself legally
did both
Correct cannot be greedy, that would be a fail. Your dad was correct. I did all of the above.
