Sorry Sam, I'm going to be the cool philosophocal advice-giver from here on out. Stay off my turf, ya'hear?
who bitch dis is
this reminds me that I want to teach
@Deleted User you should write a quick outline of what you want to say before you make a video
this is too long
Yeah yeah yeahhh
I checked out after like 5 minutes
I'm just starting out. Just gotta get stuff up.
Yeah but it's not the most revolutionary content currently anyways so I don't care.
people typically won't give you much more than 1-2 minutes if you're not getting to the point or that engaging
Yeah I really don't care at this point.
Itll get better as time goes on.
(you might wanna look at the numbers)
yeah, just grinding is more important at that stage of gaining competancy
consistancy
Yeah. I have got to actually try something cuz if not, I'll just explode right now.
Yeah why'd he change his name :(
it's pretty amazing to see someone become notable through just chipping away at what they do
haha... Chipping.
I think sam talked about this in kickstartertv
in reference to the whole 10,000 hours thing and how some people try to be youtube comedians by spending 2 hours a week on it
Yeah I was thinking about the cult of personality concept, and how repulsive the idea seems. But then again, everything i like seems cultish one way or another. Like cult of brand? Idk
and they think they can be good that way
Maybe I don't know what that term means. Ig I liken it to viners and bloggers.
it's mythologization
when people become larger than life
Maybe it's like, at the point in which you are catering to an audience that lives vicariously through you, you've entered true cult territory.
there are definitely some personality traits that make you predisposed to being that way
Some ppl are genuinely in very unique positions in life tho. Isnt that larger than life kinda?
high intelligence, high extraversion
high emotional stability
Do you me *you* as in me?
I mean the generalized person
Or *one*
Ah
when you have those traits and a domain in which you are quite competant that's when you get the cult of personality
