oh fuck yeah i remember getting a 10 day trial of everquest in a pc mag and getting it running on my dial-up internet and just being amazed

i asked someone in chat if they were really real

i got into diablo 2 instead cuz my parents wouldn't pay for a subscription to everquest or WoW later

i got really into evq for like 3 months so i bought a year subscription and my parents took away the game because my grades were bad and they knew i liked it

never played it again
