Only free to play game I actually enjoyed was planetside 2, that game is fun as hell

What happened?

i was 2nd in command of a 3000+ member outfit that had been running from release and when the game started dying the outfit died with it

planetside 2 was a fucking mess

i loved that game but goddamn was it a circus

It was a good kind of mess

Playing as a sniper was so fun

yeah except the studio got way too much money from cosmetic purchases and stopped developing the actual game

once ppl started realizing they weren't gonna get all that cool shit smedley promised us we knew it was over

the resource system they did eventually put out is a total fucking joke

Micro Transactions is gonna kill gaming

doubt it

I heard they were gonna make a third one

If it ever gets to a point where it's _too_ much

There's gonna be less sales

Which means less money for the companies

Which means they tone it down

I mean yeah, you're still gonna have people buying games
