one of my favorite childhood book series was the Enders Game/Enders Shadow quadrilogies

enders game is like babys first YA fiction but the enders shadow series is fucking brutal

cuz it stays on earth and focuses on the geopolitical aftermath

and how everyone starts killing everyone

orson scott card has been a right-winger for a long time and it comes thru very clearly in his writing

the original print of Enders Game has shit about jews in it
