I took ADHD medication when I was 12-13. Thankfully, I stopped early. I remember not feeling quite there and my stomach always felt empty and I was dizzy

i was on adderall for most of my young life until like 13 and i had the same shit

one day i just developed enough sense of agency

and said fuck this im not taking this shit

there were some neighbor kids i hung out with for a while when i was 12-16 and one of them was always cringey hyper all the time

like out of control spastic

i knew he took medication for add

but i barely knew was add was or what the meds for it were

i knew it was called adderall

it didn't click until like 8 years or so later after i had taken it

why he was like that

his parents were split up

and i can only imagine how many problems it created for him

i dont know how they didn't see that change in behavior and stop giving it to him

i know there are some people that seem to handle it well long term (rare)
